Showing Z-depth info

I work with a machine shop that requires me to dimension as well as notate the Z-depths of each hole (which can be a real pain in the neck when you have 20 holes all with different Z-depths). I'd like to know if there is a lisp routine that would show the Z coordinates as either text or as part of a dimension within the drawing.

    Thanks,
    Billy

the Z-depths of each hole (which can be a real pain in the neck when you

lisp routine that would show the Z coordinates as either text or as part of
    a dimension within the drawing.

I have a routine from many years back which applies a line of text
beside a leader emanating from a picked point. The text reads:

    X=1234.56, Y=2345.67, Z=567.89 (example, obviously!)

The leader's other end has a tiny circle which identifies the point.
    It's non-dimensional, non-associative, strictly text.

If this would be useful to you, let me know.

    Hi Billy

I need a little bit more clarification...
Do you mean a dimension like 20x100mm (diameter x depth)?
    or...
    20x40x60mmm (length x width x depth)?
    and...
Is there an object for read the z value?

    Cheers

    Doug,
I'm sorry to get back to you so late. I'd be interested in trying your lisp routine out. I think it just may work...

    Thanks, Billy ()
