I'm new to solidworks and trying to make an enclusure. I was able to find
from the toolbox the PEM standoff for PCB mounting.
One problem I'm facing now is the way to make a threaded holes without
using any press on PEM nut or things like that.
I don't know the way to include a picture of what I'd like to do but the
threaded hole I want to create is more like a small cylindrical protrusion
from the sheet metal with thread on the inside wall of the protrusion.
Please let me know how should I go about to get this done.
Your help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thx in advance.

That would be an extruded hole and tap
There is a sample of one it's a sheetmetel forming tool
look under Design library/forming tools/embosses/extruded hole

Thanks for your quick response. I almost got it. I got the extruded hole
and was able to place it to the right position. My question now is how
to get the tread indide the hole and how to select the size of the
thread and thing like that that would be compatale with some screws.
    Thanks
