    Hi,

I am using QRC (EXT8.1 version) for extraction. I have set the
QRC_HOME varible properly. When I open Layout editor, I am not seeing
    QRC tab in the GUI.

I want to see QRC in the Layout editor.

Is any seetings I need to do?

    Please help me

    Thanks in advance
    Chaitanya.

    Hi,

    1. Have you setup the env environment before running cadence ?
    2. Have you run Cadence from the Unix terminal where this variable has
been set ? Use the getShellEnvVar from your CIW to check this
    variable.
    3. Have you set this variable to the correct location ?

Anyway, when you invoke the Virtuoso Layout Editor for the first time,
do you see any errors related to QRC loading reported in your CIW
    (cds.log) ?
If the QRC menu does not come up, it means the QRC context file is not
properly loaded into your environment. You could load this file
manually for debug purposes. For more information, please look at the
Appendix F of the 8.1 QRC doc.

If it does not work after these, then I would advise you getting in
touch with your local Cadence Customer Support.

    Regards,
    Riad.

It needs to run LVS first, then open LVS environment and the QRC can
be selected then, if you're using Assura.

Ah, I see you asked it there too.
