Setting of CMDACTIVE

    I am learning Autolisp about dialog box,after created hello.dcl file and
    hello.lsp file and then turn on program,in AutoCad said "Cannot find
    definition for dialog hello".On "Customization Guide",page 285 it said "if
    the value of the CMDACTIVE system variable is greater than 7,a dialog box is
    active".Now my problem is how to setting of cmdactive,it set by default is
    1, I want to set in 8.anybody help me ?thanks.

    Cmdactive is a read-only variable.
    Do you have both the LSP and DCL files in the ACAD Search Path?

    Ade,
    Could you zip up both the .lsp and .dcl, and attach to your post. Maybe there is something in the files we could find for you ?

  6. Every time I've seen this error in the past is because the name of the
    dialog in the DCL was not called correctly. NOTE: Dialog names in DCL are
    *Case-Sensitive*, even though Visual Lisp is not. Make sure your case usage
    and dialog name are correct.

    That right Phil,last time I created hello.dcl file not completed,now
    repaired it,thanks to alls for your suggest it.
