set 3dpol elevation to zero

    Hi everybody

    I have a lot of 3dpol and i need get the proyection in the xy plane,
    so i need to set every point elevation to zero.


    Can i do this in any automatic way? (point to point is imposible, i've
    got millions...)

  2. Try the Express Tool command FLATTEN.

    I don't know if there's anything official about it, but you could
    LIST your polyline, copy it from the text window to, say, Excel,
    do "DATA/TEXT TO COLUMNS" to separate X, Y, and Z; replace all the
    Zs with 0.0, copy _those_ numbers to the clipboard, set a UCS with
    Z=0 somewhere, then go:
    "POLYLINE"
    when it asks for the points, put the cursor on the command line
    window, where you would type, then Control-V paste the batch of
    coordinates onto the command line.

    By the time you read this, someone will probably have come up with
    a way to automate all that, or has already done so - we'll see. :)
