server node down or not responding

when i run solidworks 2006 the error which i am getting is as such "
server node is down or not responding" how to come up with this problem
can any one in the group suggest me.

 

Sounds like your license server is down. Doe this happen all the time
or once in a while?

i installed solidworks professional.
then when i run it this is the message what i am getting how to
rectifiy this problem

 

Try doing following

1 Check date and time of both server and ur machine, set them to same
parameter.

2 Check if u had accidently disabled ur network connection.

3 Stop and restart the solidworks server.

4 Try to ping the server from ur machine or vice versa.

5 Did u closed/stopped the antivirus while installation. If not them
uninstall the soldiworks and reinstall it (keeping antivirus stopped or
closed).

6 Check your license file and try to reread it.
