Server 2003 and FlexLM

  1. Does anyone have FlexLM (for 2002 or 2004) running on Windows Server 2003? If so, does Autodesk support it, or does it work without their blessing? Did you have to jump through any hoops to get it installed/working?

Autodesk doesn't give any kind of blessing or support right now, but it does
appear to work okay, or has been for us since mid-December. I installed it
fresh on our new server from the 2004 disk, then updated the FLEXlm files to
the latest from their site, which was 9.2 at the time. (I don't know if you
have to update it, but Macrovision recommended using their latest). Then I
set up the service after that with our Autodesk license file. I didn't go
through anything special, other than having a backup plan on hand to move
back to a 2000 server if something goes wrong with it on 2003.

If so, does Autodesk support it, or does it work without their blessing? Did
you have to jump through any hoops to get it installed/working?
