Sendcommand trim vba howto????

    i want to use the sendcommand "trim" function, but i still get the
    message: cannot TRIM this object.
    the object i want to trim is a line.

    the code is:

    ThisDrawing.SendCommand "trim" & vbCr & "5.75,15.15" & vbCr & vbCr &
    "5.85,15.19" & vbCr & vbCr

    it is simple but it doesn't work.

    any help???
