Selection of lines ?

    When I use a command such as copy or move, the lines do not show as being
    selected(blue squares at end and midlle of line do not appear), but when I
    select them with out a command they do hi-lite.
    please help

    That's right. The grips (blue squares) appear when you click on an item
    before issuing a command. If your HIGHLIGHT system variable is set to 1,
    items selected at a "Select objects:" prompt should appear dotted to help
    you see what you have or haven't selected. It's not grips, but it beats
    nothing at all.
