Select Polyline from dot

    I have a big problem, I whant to select polilyne around dot and i dont know
    how.

    I have a Layer with all my dot. The dot indicate the center of a lake.But
    the lake are not closed. But it supose tu be close whit the dam. I try to
    copy the polyline around the dot on a another layer. It why i want to know
    how to select polyline around a lot of dot.

    I need to find
    all polylines that surrounding a dot.


    Sorry for my english i try to learn, i hope you understand.

    Can you post a small sample drawing showing the data you have and what
    you want to accomplish?
