I'm running Section Properties on the face of an Aluminum Extrusion (Bosch
45x45R). SW applies a Principal Axis at an angle to the Part Axis. Is there
any method of controlling the X & Y axis about which the principal moments
    of inertia are calculated?
To see what I mean, simply sketch a vertical line from the Origin and a
horizontal line from the origin of equal length. Connect the two ends and
extrude to any length. Select the front face and run Tool/Section
Properties. Note the principal axis angle.
This tool is relatively of useless unless the principal axis is aligned in
some way to the forces applied to it.

    Regards,

I think the answer you are looking for is Lxx and Lyy which is
relative to the x and y axis in the lower left corner. If you require
the answer on a different axis rotate the body using the move/copy
feature which you will find in insert feature.
