Scroll barwidth with layout tabs

    Is there a variable or way to automatically set the width of the
    horizontal scrollbar when layout and model tabs are displayed? I'm
    getting files from others with data in layouts that I need to have
    access to, but the dinky scroll bar (maybe 1/3 of screen width) is
    driving me crazy. Resetting by hand for each instance (we run SDI)
    wastes a lot of time. On R2004 at the moment.
