Script Pro Problem

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Aaron Cunningham, Jul 30, 2004.

  1. Not sure if I should post in here but I will give it a shot. I'm using AutoCAD R200i.

I have tried everything I can think of and still cannot get AutoCAD to close down after it runs the script. It will open the drawing, run through the script file, close the AuotCAD window and just sit there untill the timeout is reached. While it is sitting there I see "Starting AutoCAD...Done"

It will sit at this point untill the timeout is reached and then in my status column it states "*error* - Timeout reached"

  3. I spent alot of time creating this one :)

    PROJECTNAME
    MAJESTIC
    QSAVE

It's not just this script file but any one that I try and use. Even the ones that came with the program do the same thing.

When it freezes up, check the drawing that it had open. Did the script complete everything it was suppose to on that drawing and was the drawing saved successfully?

  6. Yes the projectname was saved the only problem I'm having is that it will just sit there and wait for the timeout to be reached before it will go on o the next drawing.

  7. Yes they are but I tried using Script Pro on some drawing in my hard drive and it still made no difference.

  8. It must be the installation that is corrupt.

  9. I think I might know the problem. I've been installing "migrsetup.exe" which I had gotten when I was working somewhere else on AutoCAD 2002. I'm now working on AutoCAD 2000i at a different employer. I think I need the msetup.exe file for it to run correctly. Would someone please post msetup.exe file in the customer files newsgroup.

  10. Well I spoke to soon. I just did a complete removal of the old Migration Assistance and installed the right one from the CD. I'm still getting the same problem of the "*error* - Timeout reached" after each drawing that is processed.
