Everytime I start Autocad Civil 3D 2006 my toolbars are rearranged (not
    where I left them).
It just started doing this...any ideas?

What's the difference betweeen a workspace and a profile? Autodesk really
seems to be confusing things in the last two releases.

A workspace is a named collection of the settings related to the
visibility and location of pull-down menus, toolbars, palettes, etc.

A profile contains things like the support file search path, most other
    paths, screen colors, etc.

Ah. So they did a bit of fiddling. The displayed toolbars and menus used
to be saved with the profile in earlier releases. I don't quite understand
the advantages of the workspaces. I was keeping up with acad very nicely up
until 2005 but now I feel like a novice. The whole materials mess has still
    got me confused too.

    Thanks
