My IS dept has decided they need to reformat my computer for some
reason. This will be a total wipe and a clean install of all software.
I've worked hard getting my settings for Autocad set up and I'd like to
not lose them. Where are the settings and can I copy them back to the
    machine after the install?

    Thanks

    Toney

Select options in the tool menu then pick profiles from which you export
    your profile to a disk

    hope that helps

    Save:
you're custom menu file (mns file) and/or the acad.mns if you have custom
    toolbars and menus
acad.pgp file if you have customized keyboard aliases
your master drawing or template files (for your layers, dimstyles,
    textstyles, layouts, page setups, etc)
    plotter config files (pc3 files)
plot style tables (ctb and/or stb files)
    custom icons (bmp files)
export and save your profile(s) in options
    lisp routines
acaddoc.lsp if you added routines to that
