save paper

    i'm using hp designjet 500...does anyone know how i could set so that when i plot (2) 11 x 17 dwg it will plot it on the same sheet...instead plot one trim off then go back plot the next dwg. I'm waste to much paper and i'm trying to save some...anyone know any trick please help...much appreciate.

    It seems to me that there is a setting in large format HP plotters for a
    "nesting" option.

    I have tried many times to set up nesting, with differetn HP designjets and wasted much paper in tring so. I found that, in general it is not a stable system.
    I would advice buying a 11x17 printer.
    Paper is chaeper, Prints are faster and do not need cutting...
    I you plot a lot of those sheets, even a laserprinter HP5500 could result in a much lower cost/page.
