What release do you have? This option is not available in AutoCAD 2004.

As I recall, using "terminal server"or Citrix or so is a violation of the Licence agreement.
With ACAD14 it had the strange behaviour of only needing 1 licence for the terminal server...
But Acad is such a large program on Screen and Mouse data, that it is not a good solution to draw this way. Reactions on mouse clicks are a bit delayed, so drawing tend to get a whole lot less accurate due to wrong osnaps.

What's the idea ? Why would you need such a solution ?

i need to do minor changes to dwgs on some pcs on which cad is not
    installed.
i don't want to install on those pcs as those rn't mine and this editing on
those pcs is one time use.

a good solution to draw this way. Reactions on mouse clicks are a bit
delayed, so drawing tend to get a whole lot less accurate due to wrong
    osnaps.

Why not just have them send you the DWGs, edit them, and return them?

Or put them in a shared folder on the network, and access them that way?

all dwgs r on network and these r mine, not theirs.
the situation is we need to discuss before edit, not just saying change
this, change that. N' somehow, it is better for me to go to their cubicles,
    than they come to me.
hence, i m looking for a way to run Cad from any workstation.
    thanx for ur interest.
