Running Acad12 on Win2000Prof

  1. Yes, yes, yes.... Spare me the commentary.... I know I'm in the dark ages, but I don't use Acad in my work -- just for piddly projects around the house.

Rev 12 worked fine with Win98SE, but now I have Win2000Prof and can't get it to install.

    Try #1:
I have each of the 9 disks in a separate folder. When I tried running setup in Disk 1, I get the error "Cannot start more than one copy of the specified program." However there are no other copies of this running.

    Try #2:
Then I copied all files from all 9 disks into one folder, then tried to run setup. Same error.

Thanks in advance for any help on how to install this old program on Win2000Prof.

  2. I was able to install the program on Win2000Prof with no errors popping up. But when I run it I get a 'divide by zero' error. Anyone know how to overcome that?
