rotate view by element mirrors file?

    Hi Everyone,

Rotating a view by clicking an element makes my view go mirror now and
    than.

I used the command ROTATE VIEW ELEMENT which most of the time works
really well. Enter command, click an element and your view should
    rotate according to the element.
But sometimes it flips the whole file including refs around. I end up
with a mirror image of what I used to have. I could imagine this
happening in 3d... but I'm not doing any 3d right now. Has anyone ever
noticed that and found a solution for this? Shouldn't the design be
just turned upside down instead of mirrored? That would make sense to
    me.

I allready found some kind of solution using CHANGE DIRECTION to flip
the line/element, but we're using specific linestyles that need not to
be direction changed. (Yep, we're changing the view not the design).
    Awww.

And if changing the direction of the line that (sometimes) causes the
problem solves the problem, then wouldn't it be a logical thing if
changing direction of a correct line would actually CAUSE the problem
    when rotating view by element?
That was just too simple to asume right?

    Prozac anyone?

    Hello Gord,
you're right about the text alignement.
    Nice one, thanx.

    Good day Martin,
I thought Rotate View by Element was (would have been) a nice
substitute for Rotate View by Points... Not allways it seems now. Back
    to Points then.

    kind regards,

As Tom said Ivo, it depends on how the line was placed.

    It can catch you out.
