    Can someone direct me what program to purchase or how to write a macro
    or lisp that would create a road symbol? I have written macros in
    Excel, but never in AutoCAD. I want to draw a line and then have
    autocad turn that line into a road symbol. Road symbols are two
    parellel lines with solid dashes between the two lines. A picture of
    this is at this line.

    The symbol I want is called secondary highway, hard surface in that
    link.

    Thank you very much.

  3. Hi Paul,

    your LISP works like a charme, but please a little correction for the users
    of localized AutoCAD versions:
    Change the line
    (command ...
    "_.chprop" ent "" "_lt" "acad_iso03w100" "s" LTS ""
    )
    to
    (command ...
    "_.chprop" ent "" "_lt" "acad_iso03w100" "_s" LTS ""
    )

    (Add a leading underscore to the option "s")

    Thank you.
