Rendering in limited number of colors

Discussion in 'SolidWorks' started by silashilliard, Nov 14, 2006.

  1. I need to do a rendering for a magazine ad in two colors, i.e.
grayscale and one other color. What's the easiest way to go about
doing this? I was thinking of using materials that are only in black
and white (though I'm not sure how to ensure that) and using green
lighting. I suppose another way would be to use the RealView Graphics
rather than Photoworks, and apply specific colors to certain components
and take a screen shot. Any suggestions?

bob z. would render as necessary to get a good picture and then run
that picture through something like photoshop or the gimp. with either
of these two programs, you can put a filter on to get your two desired
    colors.

ps: get gimp here - http://www.gimp.org/
