rendered arc smoothness

    I recently began using aced 2005 and can't seem to achieve acceptable arc
    smoothness when rendering. VIEWRES and FACETRES do not appear to make any
    difference (I've taken both to the max). I'm getting the same results with
    FACETRES at 0.5 and at 10. I've searched aced help and those two variables
    are the only ones that are mentioned. Adjusting those made a difference in
    R2k but seem to have little effect in 2005.
