Remove Windchill and ModelCheck Parameters from Part

    Hi all-

I have a part here (recieved from a customer checked out from
Windchill) that needs to be checked into another customers Teamcenter
PLM system. I do not have any type of access to this Teamcenter
system. However, the Teamcenter customer claims that the part cannot
be checked into their system without first removing the "Locked" system
parameters that Windchill and/or ModelCheck has created.

I have seen in other places (other forums except this one) where this
has been a problem, but no solutions have been developed as of yet. I
am actively surching the PTC subscription knowledgebase but to no
    avail.

Has anybody ever found a way to remove these parameters having only
access to the part file and Pro/Engineer Wildfire?

If not, anybody know what I can tell the Teamcenter customer (I don't
know anthing about Teamcenter) to solve this?

    Thanks in advance.

I am using 2001 version + Intralink and the only way I know is to
backup the part. The backup doesn't “transfer” the parameters.

    Hey Lorenzo,

Yeah that was it. I remember doing that on old Pro/E (pre-Wildfire)
installations. Now, they move to Wildfire and that doesn't work
anymore. Anybody got a solution for Wildfire (1.0+)?

    Thanks.

  4. Hi, Adam,

did you find a way to get rid off those locked parameters? I tried the
proposed solution "new_parameter_ui=no", but the locked parameters
don't even appear in the menu manager-style menu.

Same problem, cannot submit supplier models into my plm system...

    FYI: WF2.0 M160
