My firm uses the express tools layer manager to create layer states in a base drawing. We then xref that drawing into a sheet drawing and can use LMAN in the sheet drawing to pick the right saved state. If you change the layer state in the base you have to turn off visretain in the sheet drawing, reload the xref, turn visretain back on, and select the right layer state again from LMAN to get the new layer state into the sheet drawing. Has anyone created a LISP to make this job easier? Thanks.
