Registration on Cadence SourceLink Website

Why can't I register ? I tried entering a hostid (the actual MAC
address: 00-12-D4-43-F2 => hostid = 0012d443f2 ) but it keeps
giving me this error : Please check the Host Id you entered and try
again.

Is it because I didn't use a corporation e-mail ? (as they
suggested...)
Where can I find another download source of IC5141_USR5 ?

Why don't you check with your system administrator ? Surely you have all the information defined in
a support contract or whatever they call it.

(You don't expect someone to send you a copy by email, do you ?

Hi,

if you go to your license file enter the Host Id defined under
customer details -

# Host Id:XXXXXXX

that should work if not you need probably need to contact local
support

Hi Bogdan

What you need is the hostid of your license server, i.e where the CDS
file is installed. If you don't know where is your license file, then
you could get it using lmstat along with the CDS_LIC_FILE
(LM_LICENSE_FILE or whatever your CDS license env variable). I would
go for Stéphane's solution myself. I Just ask my system administrator
and offer him a coffee since 'a cup of coffee' is not considered as a
kickback in my company
