recursive creation of configurations

    Has anyone written a macro that creates a configuration of a given name
    (e.g. "simple") in an assembly and sub-assemblies and parts and sets the
    components configs accordingly?

    In SW2006 under Utilities there is a button called "Simplify" that
    creates a derived simplified configuration.

    This may just do what you want out of the box.
