reading the contents (string) of the clipboard

    Hallo.
    There's loads of clipboard functions in Visual LISP, but I can't find anything that allows me to read a string from the clipboard.
    Can anybody help with this?

    The way that i now is with DOSlib from
    Robert McNeel & Associates
    3670 Woodland Park Avenue North

    Internet: www.mcneel.com

    Example
    Command: (dos_clipboard "Hello World!")

    "Hello World!"

    Command: (setq str (dos_clipboard))

    "Hello World!"
