read only file

    created drawing file
    saved to desktop
    checked drawing properties and they ARE NOT read only
    right clicked drawing icon and sent to cd

    opened drawing from cd and it opens as a READ ONLY file

    how can I make it NOT a read only file so others can make changes to
    it?

    In a previous post wrote...
    You can't. Once it goes to CD it becomes "read-only". The other can copy
    the file to their HD, change the properties from "read only", make then
    make the required changes. If they send it back on a CD it will be "read
    only".
