Raster to Vector

Hello All,

What do you all do for raster to vector conversion.
I need to show my clients logo in my model, and have used Scan2CAD before
with limited success, although I haven't used it since V4 or 5.

Any advice is appreciated.

Wintopo does not connect the lines! You will get a lot of unconnected lines.
Pictures Converter is designed for SolidWorks and it gives you connected
contour right into the sketch.

Well, my initial reaction is WOW!!! $595.00.

Then I thought well if it works then OK. So I download the demo (the ReadMe
said "very intuitive") selected the addin from SW and clicked
Applications>Picture Converter, and I get a message "Select location
first...".
What the heck does that mean? Select a location how?
NOT very intuitive.

I'm obviosly doing something wrong.

OK you need to select a face or an open Sketch.

 

try 'rasterfratz' from www.imsrv.com, not very 'bells and whistles' but
seems to work
