I have a dwg which has a jpeg rendering attached. The building in the
rendering is 500' x 1500' long and has 3 red stripes near the top of the
wall that are 8" wide, with 8" between. The size of the rendering image is
    4050 x 2500 pixels.

my plotter is an hp design jet 500, color plotter.

when I plot the dwg, everything is fine except the red accent stripes. They
plot and the result is a swirling type accent that resembles a candy cane or
    barber pole.

I am sure the issue is with the plotting, the image prints to the printer at
11 x 17 and the stripes are crisp as you would expect.

I am plotting on a d sheet, from layout mode, the image is in a viewport
    that is 17 x 11.

    appreciate any comments
