Failure to continue support for user commands prolly doesn't bother newbies or casual users but for some of us it's like chopping off an index finger. How difficult could it be to port user commands to the new v8 structure? Is there anything more to it than realigning all the pointers? Is it a marketing thing? I suspect its nothing more than ideology, sort of a cultural revolution for software development and Bentleys are the Red Guard, and all us old fossils can either do a lot of work to migrate or drop off the twig. I can't see myself rewriting all my old ucs in basic. I just don't have the kind of enthusiasm that enables me to sit at the pc all weekend. I'd rather be sailing. What's more I discovered I can't just recompile my old MDLs but that's another story. FAAAAAAAAAK!!!!!!! Wal
