I was working with turning visible toolbars off by programically setting the visibility to :vlax-false. This worked well but when I later set the visibility to :vlax-true, the toolbars became visible but some of them appeared in different locations than they were when previously visible. This was not a problem because I have a lisp in my startup that sets and exports the profile for each user so any changes that are made before the session is closed get saved to the .arg at startup. So I set the profile to unnamed and import the user profile and set as current. All is restored to where it was before I turned off the toolbars. Slick Eh? Well read on. The interesting part: After this when I go to "file" "new" on the drop down or the "new" button, the select template dialog box appears and I pick the acad.dwt off the list and then hit open button, and the AutoCAD session suddenly dissapears. ??? Anyone have this same occurance? TIA Bill
