My wife is thinking about re-entering the architectural design / drafting (commercial) field after a 1 yr absence since the birth of our son. Her former employer has approached her to do some drafting and light design work from home..... they are offering to set her up with all the necessary hardware / software and pay 22.00 per hour..... hours would be flexible, depending on her ability to get stuff done with the little one running around the house. Sounds like a good deal, but I'm just hung up on the hourly rate.... is 22 a decent rate? she has 5 years experience in commercial design and drafting.... and I (we) have no idea what the market is paying these days..... any thoughts or feedback would be appreciated! brian charlotte, nc
