Question about AutoCAD 2002 dimension extension lines

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by pawn, not an idiot, credible, Nov 19, 2004.

  1. Hi:

I've noticed something about ACAD 2002 that I've never seen in previous
versions. The extension lines on linear dimenions seem to "anchor" to
    the original point they addressed.

I.e., if I dimension a plan, then I try to move that entire plan around,
then some of the dimension extension lines stretch back to where they
    were originally.

Is this a new "feature"? Can it be disabled?

    Thanks,

    KJ

Sounds like you have either Layer 0 or DEFPOINTS (or both) either locked or
    frozen. Don't do that.

  3. Nope. Anyone else?

    Thanks,
