    Hi,

Is there a file or a set of files or a folder that have to be copied to
another workstation to make sure to have all the same settings and
preferences in the new SolidWorks working environment?
Or are there some keys in the windows registry that have to be set/changed?

    Thanks for your help!

you can copy the settings from one pc to another
    follow START/Programs/SW200*/SW tools/copy option wizard
also see your Help file for info

If you are using SW 2005 - you use the copy settings wizard - this will copy
setting, toolbar locations, shortcut keys, etc.

If you are using SW 2004 - use the copy options wizard, PLUS you have to
copy and rename the 'username".cus file from the seed computer to each of
the others. The .cus file will copy the shortcut keys. You will still need
to set up the toolbars on each machine.

    Merry :)
