Purpose of Layers in IBM PDK

    Hello all,

    what is the difference between the layer purposes drawing, vdd and gnd
    in the IBM PDK. According to the users's guide all three will be
    streamed out into mask build layers.
    For what reason should I use vdd and gnd instead of drawing?
    Are there any special applications where I need the other two purposes?
