Has anyone writen a purge routine that purges mass amount of drawings and
saved them and then set the file date back to the original date? Might
reqire doslib or something. I'm thinking of writing and just wanted to check
    if anyone elses has tried.

  2. Don't think you can.
The drawing is physically changed and in fact e 'new' file for windows thus
    it becomes a new date.
Next people start asking "i want to throw half the drawing away and i must
    keep the same date" !!

If you want files to remain unchanged on disk, clean them up after the last
    edit.

I just want to sweep through our server and cut down the file size of
    drawings from past projects.
I have found a way to do it, I can purge the drawing through lisp and then
save it and run a command line dos program that will set the date to match a
reference file like the BAK file.
