Programmers Wages

    What is an acceptable pay rate for a kid fresh out of tech. school? We are
    looking at a 3 to 6 month term, 8-5, mon.-fri., C++, Visual Basic, Oracle,
    etc.

    That will make a difference. We are in northern Alberta, Canada. Cost of
    living is a little higher than Edmonton / Calgary. Busy place, lots of
    opportunity. The fellow we are looking to hire is currently a landscaper.
