Programmatically importing ADT styles

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Andrew McDonald, Aug 20, 2003.

  1. Does anybody have or know if it possible to import styles (wall, door etc)
    from a template drawing file
programmatically rather than having to go into the style manager select the
wall style and paste it into
    your current drawing.

I'm looking at creating a menu/toolbar that automatically imports the
    selected style and then invokes
the command for that particular AEC object.

Hopefully something similar in structure to a simple macro
^c^c(command "importstyle" "xyz") or whatever the syntax is.

    Any help appreciated.

  2. That looks great.
    Very neat and tidy.
I would love to try it out if you wouldn't mind.
Where and/or how can I try it out ?
