Program to plot "thumbnails" on one sheet

I have about 300 drawings that are 11 X 40 (custom paper size). I want to be
able to print two or four of these on a 11 X 17 piece of paper. Scale
doesn't matter. Kinda looking for a way to similar to Illustrator where you
can specify the program to print 4 on a sheet, except a way that works in
ACAD 2000iMap. Have gotten it to work thru .pc3 file and the HP1550C, but
not with any consistency.

I dont want to plot the same drawing two times. i am try to make a book of
our drawings in sequential order.
