ProE model export to Blender?

    Seems to imply that you could give it an STL and get out a NURBS model. This would
    solve the problems presented here about faceted solids into style surfaces with a
    nicer interface than you get in Restyle or REX.... If it's true! OK, let's
    download Blender and try it.

  4. Blender imports STL fine, even without the multipart batch file from NZ.
    It exports - besides its own format and STL - only VRML and DXF, though.

    Have you tried Okino´s Polytrans? That one is not free, unfortunately,
    but I guess it can do the desired faceted solids to NURBS conversion.
