problems Spooling with HP2600- Autocad 2002

    We just "upgraded" from HP2500 to HP 2600, The new 2600 waits to start plotting after the drawing is completely spooled as to the old 2500 started spooling right after AutoCAD finished sending it. Is there an AutoCAD setting that I need to change so that the new HP 2600 starts to plot as soon as I finish sending it in AutoCAD. HP tech Support seems to think it's the PCL3 language card that HP2500 has and the new HP 2600 has PCL 5 and that's why I have to wait for the print to start. It spools at a rate of about 1m a minute and for a large dwg that is too much of a waste of time. Any help or suggestions or recommendations are appreciated. Or any suggestions on a compatible printer to the hp2500
