Has any one met this problem before? I was trying to create a new
library for my design in BiCMOS8HP technology. The way I did is to
click "IBM_PDK" from the icfb-CDS.log window, and then select create
library. In the new window, I selected "compile new tech file", then I
typed in the directory and name of the techfile, "techfile5.asc".
However when I click OK, I got this message:"Failed to load tech
file ....../techfile5.asc", I am sure the path and file name are
correct, and I do have the access to the file. Does any one have idea
what causes this problem? BTW, my account, cadence setup files
(including .cdsenv, .cdsinit, and the file to launch cadence) are all
just created, since I just moved to this dept. Could these files the
cause of this problem? Thanks very much.
