Problem in plotting letters

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Brian Y.K. Leung, Sep 12, 2003.

  1. I am a user of AutoCAD 2002, recently, I have the following problem:

During the drafting of the drawing, I use "truetype" letters to type the
texts of the drawing. Those letters were originally shown as "solid"
figures on the computer screen. But when I plot the drawing, the same
letters become "void" figures (i.e. the inner part of the letters is white,
and the letters are only shown by black lines surrounding the profile of the
letters). Can anyone tell me how to set the plotting such that such that
    the
letters can be printed as "solid" figures?

I am using the following system:

Operating system: Windows XP Professional (Chinese Traditional Version)
    CAD: AutoCAD 2002
    Plotter: HP DesignJet 450C

    Thank you for your help!

    Regards,
    Y.K. Leung

  2. Check to make sure your "textfill" variable is set to 1. Sometimes it can
get reset to 0 for no apparent reason.
