Problem going from Win 2000 to xp

    I set up a pc3 file using a heidi driver on windows 2000 for the HP 1050c
    with AutoCAD 2000i and it works fine on all of our machines.

    We are now trying to move to windows xp. I set up the exact same config on
    an xp machine as on the 2000 machines but I get a "Null Pointer" error when
    trying to use the above mentioned pc3 file.

    WHY??!!

    Certain drivers require different versions of .pc3 files for different
    operating systems. We experienced this with LDT2000i and Win2K/WinXP.

    I actually re-created the .pc3 file on the Windows XP machine and it seems
    to be working all around.

    Is this what you meant?

    Well, basically, though we actually had two different versions - one for XP
    and one for 2K.

    LDT2005 seems to work fine regardless of the OS...
