Printing to HP 2500C from LT 97

    I have just purchased a 2nd hand HP 2500C. I am running XP Home and when I connected it using a USB to Parallel cable it loaded the drivers via the Plug & Play. I can print from everything but my AutoCAD LT97. When I try, the printer just locks up and I have to restore to factory settings on the printer control panel. Does anyone know if there is another driver I should be using or does something need changing in the setup to allow me to print?

    Any help would be appreciated.
