    Hello!

I posted this problem a few days ago to the autocad.2005 group but i din't
solve it, so i will try in here.

When trying to plot on a HP Designjet 500 drawings with large hatched
areas or images from ACAD2005 the printing is not complete (missing lines,
mtext boxes) and i get an error message on the printer saying "out of
memory - lost data". The same file prints with no problems at all from
ACAD2004. I have the latest drives installed for the Designjet which also
    has an extra memory card.

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

  2. Hello,

When you get this error the DesignJet is out of memory. One thing to try is
go into the advanced options of the DesignJet driver and set it to Process
    in Computer. That usually works.

    Hope this helps.

Although you answred me in the acad.2005 group, i realised which option
you mean after the second post! :-(

It is strange though, that ACAD2004 prints fine without the "process in
    computer" option.

    Thank you very much!

  4. Thanks for the feedback. Can you use eTransmit and send me the file that
works in 2004 but fails in 2005 unless you change the setting in the Printer
driver? I'd like to look a little deeper into this.

    Thanks
