    hey everyone

im having troubles with printing in acad

whenever i use normal landcape layout everything goes smoothly, but when try
printing portrait it simply won't switch
and keeps forcing the landcape...and viceversa for A2 format

it seems to me like im missing some paper sizes in my acad menu

could i download and import some paper sizes for acad2006 or something?

    or any other solution....thanx

Since no one else has posted, I will go ahead.

I am not really up on the current version, but will say that print
rotation has long been an issue with AutoCAD. It requires that
AutoCAD, the Printer Driver, and the Printer itself all agree on the
rotation. I think this may be one of the unsolvable problems for
    Autodesk.

    Here are a few tips I've used in the past;

    - If you change the rotation in the Windows printer control panel, you
may need to restart autocad to force it to read that change.

    - I've dealt with the problem on version 2002, and a problematic
printer driver by creating a custom paper size (17x11 vs. 11x17). I
choose the paper size rather than fiddle with the portrait/landscape
    problem.

    - Another trick was to create a paperspace tab that had the view
rotated by rotating the UCS and then getting a plan view of the
current UCS. I couldn't draw that way, because the drawing was
sideways, but kept that tab just for printing.
