    Problem:
How can I keep the scale from changing when I print from Express Viewer?
    Background:
I need give our non-ACAD users an easy way to view our maps and print an
area of interest at the same scale to smaller paper. I used the "Publish to
Web" wizard in Map 2004 to save some drawings as DWF files to a web page.
MS Internet Explorer and Autodesk Express Viewer make viewing a breeze.
When I print I select "Current View", "Print to Scale 100%", and "Clip
Drawing". From my computer I get the displayed area printed to the original
scale no matter what printer I send it to. Exactly what I want. However,
when I print from other computers, the displayed area gets re-scaled instead
of clipped. I'm printing to the same networked printers with identical
    drivers. What am I missing?

    Thanks,
    Kent

AEV v4.0 is installed on all PCs.

The page area is always different depending on the area displayed.

The source layout is scaled at 500'=1" for printing on 36"W x 30"H media.
The final media is usually letter but could be legal.

"Print to scale 100%" and "Clip Drawing" are selected.

  3. Hi, Dean.

Do you or anyone else out there have any ideas regarding this?

    Thanks,

  4. The same thing has happened with 4 different dwgs, so I don't feel that's
the cause. When I print from a PC with Map 2004 installed it works fine.
However, I was printing from the AEV windows without Map running so I
wouldn't expect this to matter. Does this prompt any ideas?
