printer configuration error - is it being carried with the file?

    I've got a problem that I'm not sure how to fix. When I open up a file (created by someone else here), I get the following error: HP LaserJet 4MV: this plotter configuration cannot be used for one of these reasons: the driver cannot be found, the device cannot be found, or the driver has a problem. the None plot device has been substituted.

    I don't know if this is coming from a setting where the file was created, but how do I get it to use by my printer setting? Also, when I change the printer configuration for the print, it always goes back to the default None. Why doesn't it set itself and stay where I want it?
